Awards presented to DTSA
DTSA are really delighted to have accepted a national accolade with The Award for Impact through Partnership from The Pearson National Teaching Awards 2020.
“We feel that it is a real vindication of the efforts that we have put into our partnership work across Derby City and Derbyshire with schools, leadership teams, governors, and collaboratively training people to teach with the University of Derby. We are now in the running for a televised ‘teaching oscar’, and will be attending on behalf of all partners.”
In 2019, Director Dr Deborah Outhwaite was shortlisted for the The FL National Awards & Summit Midlands region finals for the Charity/Social Enterprise Category.

We work with a number of partners including University of Derby, School Direct, STEM Learning, DfE, Accelerate and The Chartered College of Teaching to deliver projects which support the teaching profession throughout Derby, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
