Terms and Conditions of Sale

Effective from 1st July 2018 and updated 1st November 2019.  Please note these ‘Terms and Conditions’ may be subject to change without notice. Training is facilitated by Derby Teaching Schools Alliance, Derby Governance Partnership and in conjunction with STEM Learning on science courses only. The cancellation period for science courses only is 21 days.

 

Fees

Submitting the booking form / email / phone call secures your place and commits you to pay the attendance or cancellation fee.

Organisations are requested to pay the fees charged within 28 days of the date of the invoice.  DTSA reserves the right to charge late payment interest on any outstanding invoice at the rate of 5% above the base rate of Yorkshire Bank Plc.

 

Cancellations of In-School Support

Cancellations of full day in-school support training are subject to a 25% administration fee where the cancellation is made more than one calendar month before the date of the training course. No credit note is payable for a cancellation made within the calendar month immediately prior to the training course. In this event the full sum negotiated will be invoiced and remains payable.

 

Discounts

Multiple delegate booking discounts offered to delegates booked at the same time, on the same course or same combination of courses, and from the same organisation, may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer.

 

Cancellations by the Delegate and Credit Notes

 

Notice given by delegate (prior to course date) Applicable fee / procedure
More than 3 weeks before the event A credit note for the full amount will be issued valid for 12 months to be used against any future courses.
Between 1 – 3 weeks before the event A credit note for 50% will be issued valid for 12 months to be used against any future courses.
Between 24 hours and 1 week before the start of the event A credit note for 25% will be issued valid for 12 months to be used against any future courses.
Non attendance A credit note will note be issued.

 

Transferring a Booking

A substitute delegate may attend at no extra charge.  Where a delegate transfers his/her booking to another member of staff, the school will not be entitled to a credit note where he/she cancels attendance with that new member of staff. Only one transfer is permitted per course, per delegate. The fee will be charged as above.

 

Alterations / Cancellations of Courses by DTSA

It may be necessary for DTSA to change the content and timing of a course, the trainer, the date or the venue. In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled by DTSA, a credit note for the full amount will be made unless the delegate transfers his or her booking to an alternative date/venue for the course. For all bookings, the liability of DTSA shall be limited to the amount of the fee actually paid to DTSA by the delegate. Please note credit notes issued for cancellation of the course by DTSA will have an indefinite time period to be used against future courses.

 

Registration Information

Registration information, including directions to the venue and timings, will be sent to the delegate by email at least 7 days prior to the event. DTSA will not be responsible for the non arrival of registration information.
