Secondary Science Computing Courses. The following courses provide opportunities to network and learn with colleagues in the same role in other schools. The sessions are aimed at subject leaders and other key school staff. Each session is professionally facilitated by Subject Matter Experts (SME) with STEM Learning UK.

PHYSICAL COMPUTING KITS AVAILABLE TO BORROW

Current research suggests that physical computing is an important tool to engage learners and a strategy to develop their understanding in more creative ways. The Computing Hub has class sets of physical computing resources which can be borrowed along with training resources and unit plans during the Summer Term. There are Crumbles available for KS2, Micro:bits for KS2/3, and Raspberry Pi Computers and Picos for KS4. For further information, please email teachcomputing@lionhearttrust.org.uk
