Primary Science CPD. STEM courses for teachers in Science, Maths and Design & Technology. The following packages provide opportunities to network and learn with colleagues in the same role in other schools. The sessions are aimed at subject leaders and other key school staff. Each session is professionally facilitated by STEM consultants.
“Subject-specific CPD is important for all science teachers and teaching assistants. But it is especially important for non-specialist primary teachers. This is because estimates suggest that just 5% of primary school teachers hold specialised science degrees and teaching qualifications in science. This means that some do not feel confident in teaching science.”
