Primary science KS2 courses for teachers. The following packages provide opportunities to network and learn with colleagues in the same role in other schools. The sessions are aimed at subject leaders and other key school staff. Each session is professionally facilitated by STEM consultants.

KS2 Science Courses

Engaging science for KS2

This course will enable you to plan and embed a progressive and engaging curriculum to meet the needs of your pupils. You will reinforce your own subject knowledge, develop the use of tools and strategies to support high quality teaching, both with specific reference to key stage 2 national curriculum requirements, and develop strategies that help to tackle pupils’ common misconceptions. Your learning will support the implementation of a broader, balanced and engaging curriculum for your key stage 2 pupils.

Improve your confidence in planning and enabling effective learning by children in your class. You will develop your approaches to planning and teaching primary science in lower KS2 and explore ways to bring the curriculum to life through practical ideas and discussion tasks.
