Individual Courses

Individual Courses can be found below and are updated on a regular basis. As well as our regular networks you will find individual courses covering (eg) Deep Dive and SEND alongside guest facilitators.

Deep Dives Across the Primary Curriculum

The facilitator will lead you through a set of questions and prompts which inspection teams follow for each stage of the Deep Dive process. Some subject leaders will prefer to replicate this process whilst others may find it useful to focus on certain elements, depending on your existing knowledge of your subject and where you are in terms of the schools’ monitoring and evaluation cycle.

Aimed at subject leaders, the meetings provide an opportunity to network with colleagues in the same role in other schools.

These standalone Deep Dive sessions are professionally supported by one of our SLEs or regular facilitators.

We are fortunate to work with a broad network of SLE’s, NLE’s, NLG’s and expert practitioners who are knowledgeable, highly skilled and confident in supporting any areas of SEND education you are looking to develop.

Putting the Theory into Practise

The session will focus on sharing ideas, strategies and techniques to embed the principles of CLT into day to day practice in the classroom. It will be very practical with lots of ‘lesson ready’ suggestions. It will allow teachers to leave knowing how the outcomes for pupils can be improved when CLT principles are applied.

Re-thinking Differentiation

Re-thinking Differentiation

The session will focus on a re-think of what differentiation could look like. It will focus on a model that suggests pitching the lesson high but then adopting a scaffolding approach through the creation of quality ‘rich’ tasks together alongside precise and focused teacher feedback. It will show how the idea of ‘responsive teaching’ can be a highly effective solution to the challenges of differentiation

Cost: £90
