Face-to-face Science CPD in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Science Learning Partnership (SLP) and Leicester, Leicestershire and Northants Science Learning Partnership – trading as Developing Teachers of Science Association (DTSA) – covers the entire geographical area, including Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Northampton, for STEM Learning UK.
Our aim is to allow all staff to support students to ensure they are the best that they can be. We are proud to have provided teachers, technicians and other educators with high impact, subject-specific professional development in science and the STEM subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
As well as a wide range of science courses we also encourage schools to consider bespoke CPD designed to match their development needs through high impact professional development in both pedagogy and subject specific content. We work with individuals or whole school teams to develop science curriculums, hold network groups for science leaders, NQT/RQT’s and technicians to develop and share the expertise within the schools in our region.
We appreciate the challenges and concerns which face leaders of science and are happy to discuss how we can work together to support and develop all members of the science community.
Online courses are also available for when you are short on time, or can’t get out of school so easily.
To access the science courses that your Science Learning Partnership offers you must first create an account with STEM. Once you have registered you will need the activity code (ie RK298 A01) to book on.
