Bespoke Training

Bespoke Training for schools throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We work with individuals or whole school teams to develop science curriculums and share the expertise within the schools in our region. We appreciate the challenges and concerns which face leaders of science and are happy to discuss how we can work together to support and develop all members of the science community.

The Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire SLP is continuing to develop a wide range of in-school support that can be delivered in flexible and bespoke ways such as inputs to staff meetings, INSET days, in-school meetings, shared events with other schools such as clusters (to keep your costs down) or coaching for individual members of staff. Bespoke programmes of support can be developed to meet your specific needs. These can range from short single focus pieces of work to medium and longer term programmes covering a number of areas in your improvement plans and Ofsted compliant curriculum.

The initial step is a phone call to our office and a discussion to identify the most appropriate colleague to visit you and discuss your requirements and how these might best be met. The amount of support; the timescale; who will deliver; the intended outcomes and cost of the programme will be clearly identified and should you wish to proceed these will be built into the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire SLP contract of support.

Colleagues wishing to engage any of the facilitators should contact finance@dtsa.org.uk for more information and guidance.
